  • 1. Fort Benning Entrance with the painted line.

  • 2. The stage -- right up to the line.

  • 3. Light refreshments were provided.

  • 4. Displaying signs after poles were confiscated.

  • 5. A multiplicity of organizations were present.

  • 6. The crowd was kept behind barricades

  • 7. So traffic could continue to move.

  • 8. Those present were old and young.

  • 9. We were entertained from the stage

  • 10. And by guerrila theater

  • 11. displaying the face of death.

  • 12. At 10:30, the Army provided busses to their own presentation.

  • 13. Those previously jailed were selected to board the buses--with memorial coffins. (Since the coffins wouldn't fit on the busses, only 1 person ended up attending the Army's competing presentation.
